French Bulldogs are very expensive and time consuming to breed. They need progesterone tests to see when they ovulate. Some need 3 to 5 + tests per heat cycle. They need to be artificially inseminated, again an expensive procedure. Then they have to have an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy and then they need a reverse progesterone to see when they might be due and the puppies are born by C-Section! The new moms and puppies need to be watched 24/7 as the new moms have a tendency to lay on them. However, they are totally worth it!
